Plan on three to four weeks from your consultation to installation. Custom shades are built to your exact window dimensions after you choose fabric, cell type, and lift, so the wait is manufacturing time rather than shipping a stock size. We'll give you a firmer date once your order is placed.
We measure in your home, not over the phone. Each window gets measured at several points for width and height, since older Lexington houses rarely have perfectly square openings, and we check depth to determine whether an inside or outside mount will fit. If you've measured yourself, we'll still verify before ordering — a shade cut to the wrong size is a shade you live with.
